Candidates will be considered at Associate level, and will have the opportunity to be involved across a range of areas and industry sectors:
- International tax and cross border planning for re-domiciliation projects, corporate reorganisations, restructurings and inward investment into Ireland.
- Mergers, acquisitions, demergers and IPOs.
- Capital markets and structured finance transactions
- Private equity transactions.
- Transfer pricing.
- Asset and project finance for international and domestic aircraft and equipment.
- VAT and indirect taxes and advisory services.
- Real estate tax
- Tax controversy and tax litigation.
REASONS TO REALLY CONSIDER THIS ROLE
This is a unique opportunity for secondment and partnership opportunities. The team is not top heavy with 4 partners currently in place. The team would like to secure future partners for the team and put a clear succession planning strategy in place. Candidates will have an opportunity (if they want to) to work in New York or San Francisco for 1 to 2 years after completing one year in Dublin. Once you have returned and depending on your level, you will have an opportunity to take part in the partnership process.
The partners want to hire and want to develop the Tax Lawyers and professional that join their must be a qualified lawyer or have a professional tax / accounting qualification. They should also have relevant experience (3-5 years PQE) working in a corporate law firm in Ireland or abroad (with Irish Tax exposure)
While the role is principally based in the law firms Dublin office, suitable candidates have the option to be seconded for a period to one of the firm’s US offices (New York/San Francisco).
